I've seen these types of threads a few times. Its almost like pbnation needs a Craigslist-style Casual Encounters personals section.
In all seriousness, if you can't find anyone to go with, try going lonewolf. Last time me and my buddy went, we met a couple of guys who came by themselves and we had a blast playing with them.

I almost always hit up fields by myself. Met so many new people doing so, so now whenever I go, I know people at the field. Just don't be shy.
