Your 'broken in' pressure & dwell settings for G6R
I've searched and cannot find a definitive answer. I've read that certain settings can be changed on a G6R once it's been broken in. Has anyone tried alternate dwell or pressure settings using a stock poppit? For example, I know Bob Long used certain settings in it efficiency video.
I never got the QC card with my used G6R and have only tried stock dwells/pressures. However the gun has seen enough use to be properly broken in. I'm not asking what I should set my gun at, I'm just curious what settings you guys use and anything you've gained from those settings.

You are using a stock poppit? What's your dwell?

I still have the stock poppit and dwell set at 6ms. I'm considering buying a LP poppit but want to see how good I can make the stock poppit feel before buying it.

LP poppit would be nicer.
You could easily set your HP poppit at 70-200 and get 285 I'm sure.

You might be able to get a little lower on the HPR, but I doubt it.
LP poppit after a lot of shots can be between 55-70 psi lpr @ 155-180 hpr

I just scored a LP poppit kit from a website for $9.99 shipped thanks to another member giving me the head-up. I think the website accidentally listed it as $6.99 instead of $36.99, and I got their last one.
I understand the LP poppet lower the operating pressures in general, but are you saying the pressures can go 55-70psi lpr/155-180psi hpr once the poppet itself breaks in?

I wouldn't bother with the dwell. 6 is the magical sweetspot, or so it seems.
Like I've posted in numerous threads, if you shoot a lot of paint through your marker, you can get it very low. My lowest was 56lpr 156 hpr with a dwell of 6. 281-283 fps at NPPL chicago @ 90 degrees.

Tim, I noticed that starting with the standard 75/190 method or Lurker, I couldn't get over 280FPS without upping the LPR. I know Lurker states to fine tune with LPR, but at 75 or lower my FPS plateaued.

I'd replace your ram orings and the orings on your bolt, then try again.
