So I was watching the X Games....

And I thought to myself, instead of everybody wanting to get paintball into the Olympics, why not push for the summer X Games first? The PSP could go to the X Games board and work it out to have one event of the season AT the X Games. They could bring back the huge X's for that event, maybe even the rest of the old XBall bunkers and rules (even if only for a special division) as the old xball league was more fun to watch.

It would be a great step for paintball and everybody could see the X's and xball again.

X-Ball at the X Games anyone?

every paintballer on here most likely wants to see paintball in the xgames. however i dont know if that would be possible with all contracts with the PSP/NPPL. i would assume you would want pro teams to be in the xgames. i mean its no fun to watch newbs on tv...you could possibly hold more divisions, but then you're extending it to a 2-3-4 day event and increasing the amount of space required for enough fields to make it work. highly doubt the xgames would go for that.

we could maybe convince them for 1 day, 1 field, 8-10 teams.

but i cant think of any team sports in the xgames. thats probably the biggest hold up. everything xgames is individual competitions.

the x-games thread has been done dozens of times. the main problem is what you said, that its a team sport in a solo-skill oriented competition.

But you are not the only one - not by a long shot - who believes paintball should be in the x-games, as there is even a popular facebook group about it.
