Hey guys I have a classic Gen-e matrix having some cycling issues. I have an AKA SCM III reg, but i don't know how to set her just right. I have a slam valve #17 oring on the slam valve, she shoots consistent velocity but cuts out in mid stream for a two ball delay. Dwells at 18 just lubed her before i went to play the last time, I also have a CP reg and running a myth G2 reg on LP. Any advise tuning her would be great.

Eh, first off I personally dont like to use LP on my Vintage Matrix. But I guess it really doesnt matter. before we get started I assume that EVERYTHING (LPR, HPR, Bolt, etc.) have all been lubed.

If so then set the SLAM bolt up to the middle settings for both sets of O-rings. I believe that 17 is the middle IIRC.

The Dwell should be set to 10ms (READ the Stickies!!!!!! or go to pblegion.com)

Next turn your LPR off or turn it all the way in (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) this way its acting as if it want even there.

Now turn your CP all the way off untill your gun doesnt get air anymore.

Now screw in your tank.

Now Slowly turn your CP HPR up untill you hit 280, 285, 290 or what ever you want it at.

Once you have your FPS set with the CP reg, now slowly (in 1/4 turns) turn up or on your LPR. When the FPS drops then turn it back a 1/4 turn.

Good to go!

Does it matte that I have a lucky board with a dm4 virtue chip as far as dwell?

nope, the dwell just needs to be at 10ms.

10 is just the magic number for Slam bolts. Completely changes how it feels. Mmmmm.
