Well since there is snow on the ground an a good amount of it , I would say most people for speedball are indoors or are taking a break till the snow is gone

Agreed, there's pictures on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/poughkeepsiepaintballpark) but they're from the summer. Wouldn't do you any justice now. We'll have speed open this weekend but the snow will deff affect gameplay.

Well it was a ruff summer going through some "management" issues. All has since been taking care of. Prior to that though always a good turn out for speed. Teams practice regularly, we'll be keeping up with the 2013 psp layouts and I'm more than happy to do different layouts upon request. So that usually attracts teams as well.

Any notable teams play at this field? What is the "tournament" style competition look like? Any MAPL/GPL teams etc...? Sorry for the "20 Questions" format, looking for a new field to play, and want to know it is worth the drive.

Don't worry about the questions my friend. That's why this thread is here after all. As far as teams, last summer we saw Overlook Syndicate (which disbanded a bit here and there), Fallout, Factory, and Misfitz just to name a few. I think they've all played GPL/MAPL. A couple teams from EPL as well but I can't remember names off the top of my head. The field was closed towards the end of last season. I took over from there and hope to get this place rolling again.

It's open now mainly for your woodsballers. As soon as the ground thaws out I'll get speed up in running. "Officially" you could say April, but I'm sure I'll have it going before then. Do you have people you usually play with or mostly walk on?

I took a 2 year hiatus from the sport, getting back into the swing of things. Ill be a walk on until I find something, fairly confident that wont take too long lol. We will see what happens.
