And if you get an iPhone I'd be obliged to punch you. You can only do whatever Apple gives you in the phone, you can jailbreak it, but for what? To run stolen apps? I can flash ROMs that give me all kinds of features, plus increase speed, performance, and battery life.
its not that droids are junk. but in my experience people get them, they work great for a couple of months then start to lag and stuff. But thats just what ive heard from people. i love my iphone, i could give a **** what phones other people use.

I don't like working retail because I know when I call companies, for example I just called Dye, and I know how the entire conversation will go start to finish before I call them. I think I got some super hottie, her voice was hot at least, but it could be a trap!

Hence what I said, you can do maintenance on a Droid, use utilities to tweak it. I get better battery life better than an iPhone. If you're not going to modify it beyond stock settings, than I say go with the phone that has better specs. And considering how many iPhones are released a year, it's not a hard choice.
Need to jump on the Apple band wagon for the developing nations.
Apple revenues in 2007 for developing: $1bn...In 2011: $20bn. They aren't going to turn their backs on a possible 1 billion customers. Sales rose over 66% in China alone last FY.
