Hmm, I'd say so. Axe would be about $350 I'd bet with that stuff. Rotor should be $80-120, depending on version, color, and condition. And then mask and pants would be about $100 total.
So maybe $500 or so for $400? Not bad..

Very nice, if condition is true, then great deal.
And yeah maybe someone else can give a second opinion, just to check.

Any specific reasons as to why axe over etek? - I see them being swapped back and forth all the time at my field.

It comes down to personal preference. I think you're getting a better deal with the Axe setup. Plus KEE is the best customer service you can get.

Axe is a better deal and in my opinion a better gun. Easy and simple to maintain. Also if you have any issues, kee sends you new parts. Plus they shoot amazing and you get all those barrel sizes.

Just make sure the guy is legit, and never ever gift a payment. Good luck!

It's actually an in person deal, and I wont be able to fire the axe, only dry fire. That's why I'm a bit worried.

You should be fine. just make sure the reg holds a good pressure and the noid clicks. They are very easy to trouble shoot and fix.

I don't really know much about axes, this is the first non tipp/spyder gun I'm buying so is there anything I should check for besides dry firing?
edit:
Thanks wise, just saw your post.
what would be a good preassure? - and axe's click? - because i know some guns don't do anything unless aired.

I would go for the AXE as well. etek 3s are loud cheap versions of egos. and the AXE is a solid marker. I cant agree with the guy a couple of posts back talking about the mini is a great marker too. I see minis go down every weekend at my home field. I have yet to see someone sitting a game out trying to fix their AXE. . I cannot say for sure if the AXE clicks or not, haven't played around with one enough to notice. If you want to know a good pressure look up a AXE manual online and see what the recommended pressure is. If the gun looks close to brand new, than it is probably good to go. Maybe just need to open it up and clean and lube the bolt system and drop a fresh 9volt.
Good luck and I hope you get the deal!!!

Just read this:
The Empire AXE operates on low-pressure. The main operating pressure is 180–200 psi.
Would I need a low preassure tank?

I think you can use any pressure but I use low pressure so I don't have to change when I use my g6r. My brother uses only hp though. The reg should read anything under 200 psi when you air it up. The delrin bolt requires a lower pressure setting on the axe's reg. To dry fire air up the gun. Hold the trigger while pressing the power button to power the gun on with the eyes off. If you want to make sure the eyes work just press the power button and drop your finger into the breach and the led light on the gun should turn from red to green, but make sure you don't pull the trigger as it will destroy your finger.
