I might be looking into buying another marker and I'm curious about the Drone DX. I owned one when they first came out and I did think they were pretty good markers. However, I sold it shortly after so I could move back to shooting a DM7.

Anyway, what I want to know is have they fixed the PSP mode? When I had the marker there was no 1 second time out which meant if you stopped pulling the trigger the ramping would reset. This is not how PSP is on every other gun I have shot.

Also, are the eye covers plastic or just a different form of metal? This irritated me when I had mine because MacDev marketed the gun as all metal yet the eye covers were plastic, this makes it not possible to get the entire gun anodized if I should ever choose to do so.

PSP mode is still like that. It is PSP Ramp. The one where you have one second to pick it back up is PSP Burst. The clone has both options, Drone only has Ramp, Bob Long has Both options, Planet Eclipse has only burst.

You can put a Clone VX board in and have the PSP mode you want.

Eye covers are plastic.

according to what james told me some time ago, there are plans of getting the eye covers made of metal, but IDK when will it be, so i will make my own metal covers so i can anodize, and its not that hard to make them just need the right tools and the right person and its done.
