Getting a SCMIII in a trade, but it has reg creep. Guy told me AKA would fix it free, but I would rather just fix it myself if it is something as simple as an oring.

That possible? Or should I just send it on in?

Should be as simple as replacing just o-rings. It is possible though that it doesn't have scm III internals though, would need to see a picture to know though.

Any easy way to tell if it has SCMIII internals? Also, why would it not have the internals?

Which gun is the SCM for?

The face is different for the brass piece. I have a SCM tool and probably the orings if you need. No reason that it shouldn't it's just possible if its an older SCM.

That would be great if I could borrow that tool if needed. Plus your're just down the road from Milwaukee.

I beleive it has been annoed if that could have thrown off tolerences somehow. No idea, just putting a thought out there.
