98c or 98c ACT?
Hey all, which is actually better for woodsball?
I have a non-ACT 98c, with E-trigger, and alot of extras, and don't really have issues. But then someone told me ACT models are kinda crappy, that they would rather have a ball bust occasionally, over having a "Crappy ACT model".
Is that true?

It is fundamentally true but with every marker there are those who trash them. For 98s, they are all extremely reliable and durable. Doing some work at my local field, a guy came in with a 98 that had bit run over by a car; it was badly bent out of shape. Nonetheless, it still was able to fire despite how mangled it was. Any 98 or variant thereof (ACT, US Army, TPN) is a great marker!

Very true, thanks for that info man. Yeah I have 3 98c's, and will just keep them all. I was gonna sell my main to get an ACT, but heard it's really not "that much" greater.

I have not had a problem with A.C.T.. I have my 98 with E-Trigger, Zero Kick Hammer and Techt Fang Trigger and it works great together. I had mine setup more for speedball and it rips and really doesnt chop.

Did this person give a reason?
The ACT models give a bit extra prevention when it comes to chopping paint. There is nothing IMO that would make it crappy when compared to non-ACT models.

The A.C.T. is a way better choice and also shoots a little smoother in my oppinion.

I say go keep ur current 98. The ACT is good but if you run fine without it you dont need to spend the extra.
