new to the SoCal region - need advice
I'll be working in the San Diego / Carlsbad area from Apr-June. I plan on playing paintball as much as possible. I'll be staying in Carlsbad but I'm willing to drive an hour or two if it's worthwhile. So far, I've got Camp Pendleton Paintball Park and SC Village on my list. I'll be by myself and I prefer speedball. Any advice? Ideally, I'd like to show up at a field and hop on to as many speedball games as possible. My hometown paintball scene is pretty small so I'm not sure what to expect in the paintball capital of the world.

Yeah but it'll be over his hour drive, more to like 2 and a half hours. But yes I agree ASG is top notch. |

Carlsbad is 80 miles from asg....wouldn't quite say its 2 and 1/2 hours. |

jungle island in Lake elsanor I think the speedball field is called the compound if it`s still there, midway between ASG / camp pen But ASG is the best field ....im bias though

We played walk on last year after one of our tournaments was changed to a one day event at the end of last season & it was cool.
They had multiple fields set up, with one for what looked like their regular teams...pretty sure that you would be able to jump onto that one as well, especially after showing up a couple of times. |

CP is always good, not exactly sure how good the walk-on is. Last weekend seemed like all teams. Velocity paintball is also fun but I think is a similar situation
