Hey y'all. I'm a noob to this forum and sort of new to my marker. I own a 5 month old Tippmann A5. I need to lighten the trigger. Before you guys say "use the search bar", I did and couldn't find any helpful information. Okay, so I want a trigger on my A5 that is walkable so I need some help getting there. To get there, I plan on buying an HE Grip and installing and Ape Board into that. I also want to buy a TechT Fang trigger for my marker. Will this be enough to lighten the trigger enough to make it easily walkable? If not, what other upgrades/mods do you recommend? I've heard of the pen spring mod. If I were to combine the pen spring mod, the HE grip, the APE board, and the TechT fang trigger, would my marker be walkable? That you guys for any input you may have!

Clicky pen mod. Take the spring out of a clicky pen...cut it down to fit where the stock trigger spring is and replace the stock spring with the pen spring.

How long should the pen spring be? With all the mods and upgrades mentioned above, would just doing this mod make my trigger fully walkable?

I wouldnt worry about walking it too much, its a Tippmann and they arent really made to do it. They are mechanical woodsball markers, they arent like a speedball gun in any way (minus the Phenom and Crossover, they run internals similar to speedball markers).

Anyways, the pen spring needs to be as long as the trigger spring that you take out. No more, no less. Simple stuff.

With the dang and the ape board and pen spring mod you will be able to walk the trigger...wether the marker can keep up or not is a completely different thing.

Okay. Well I'm planning on buying an Invert Mini for speedball anyway but I was just seeing if it would've been worth it to just keep the A5 and upgrade it but it's sounding like it wouldn't be worth it at all.

They arent made for speedball. If you had a Phenom it would be a little different. Blowbacks can only do so much.
