Anywho, I'd suggest looking into the market before buying. There are much better bangs for your buck and perhaps guns you'll like more than an Ego 10.
For example, a Cyborg RX. With a trigger other than stock, of course.
Or an Alien Independence. Bob long 2011 G6r. Bob Long Victory.
Bob long Marq/Victory (either series. both great and mostly interchangeable parts)
MacDev Clone, etc.

Clearly u like bob longs. I would actually just get an axe

I'm with you man, Stepping away from the a-5. Out of the woods onto the speed ball field. I'm very highly considering a 10-11 ego for my first marker. Is there anyone that has any big disadvantages of the gun?

Yes, if you can't afford a lot of paint you won't be playing a lot lol.

Supplying the paint isn't an issue. Any physical disadvantages, or does it come down to personal preference?

its pretty much all personal preference once you get into the high-end guns. egos are pretty solid and very reliable.

It's much more fragile than a Tippman. Just be careful diving, I have seen a couple bent frames.
