Intimidator Carbon Fiber Grip Panels
Looking for REAL carbon fiber grip panels with LCD window for Gen 3/4 frame. Anyone know where I can find some?

They are just .45 panels and I would be willing to bet someone makes carbon fiber grips for 1911s but I'd be VERY surprised if you found any with the LCD cut out since real firearms don't have LCD boards in them.
Your best bet would be to find a pair of 1911 panels and then cut the LCD out yourself but I've heard cutting carbon fiber is a pain in the ***. Will probably be more trouble than it's worth.

acidcustoms can probably make em for you, he did C/F triggers/eye covers and other stuff for the ICD community and I think the macdev community also. Just the shipping is a pain since he is down under.
You can also get sheets of C/F on ebay and other places that are decently thick, you just need to tape where you are going to cut to try and prevent fraying and having a good sharp cutter is a huge plus.
I have drilled through C/F before and with tape it works fine, havent cut it though.
edit: Also I dont remember if it was deadlywind or era designs who made these but since the freestyles used clamshells if you can find a set of these they should work, again u would need to cut your own window.

are Spyder1's just grips done by Stinger Paintball Designs? Probably just have the look of carbon fiber without the feel of it i'm guessing.

they appear to be real carbon, you can usually tell the weave is fake on the faux stuff. I could be wrong though, I know the ones on the FS7 I posted were def real and came in several colors. Just need to see if I can track down a set thats for sale.

I agree...if I cant have them made I will make them myself...already got a respirator to protect against graphite particles during cutting. Would rather pay for them though....

You'd need to coat it. CF doesn't stand up to abuse very well if not coated with something.

but if you cut into it you expose it, which means you would have to coat it again.
