Everyone's been talking about tolerances, the fit your supposed to have, and how important they are with the Eigen.
Here's a vid for the experts to look at and let me know how mine are. It'll also give everyone else somewhat of a ballpark to look for with theirs.
You should be fine but could you do another video where instead of using the heavier weight of the sleeve and guide to move via gravity flip it all over and use the bolts weight to move via gravity and do the same with the bolt inside the firing can. But either way you should be fine.
Next time I have the bolt out of it ill do the vid flipped
As per the o-ring sizes, they all have been the same since the 1st day. I hand fitted them then and they just continue to break in better and better so I'm leaving them for now.
-bolt sail is a buna 16/70 that was supplied in the small kit Lurker provided.. It has broken in considerably since the 1st day
-bolt guide's are buna 12/70's. I tried the red ones in the kit but within a couple tanks of trying them one busted
-I tried a lot of different grease patterns, lubing with gr33se. I found that it slides a lot smoother with a generous amount vs a light anount of grease.
Looks good. Only thing I would say is that in the past I had a little better results with a little bit tighter fitting o-rings for the sail and inner sleeve. Not really tight but it kinda seemed like maybe real loose fitting O-rings in those spots may not seal real well when the air hits it to cycle the bolt.
this is probably just the cold but im going to ask anyways. i had my shocker out the other day and i noticed that i was gettting tons of FSDO. the bolt /orings are not broken in, (put a hot hopper through at the field and thats it) but i have lubed it a few times since i got it. and my orings fit ok (spring has no problem moving the bolt when i check it after lubing) should i just put some more paint through it/dry fire it first? or is dry firing not a great idea?
edit: il double check my tolerances later tonight using the vid by bnkr king as a guide.
Break it in and it should be fine if the tolerances are good.
Assumption is the mother of all **** ups.

Has anyone who came from using an enertia bolt to using an eigen thought about or tried using the spacers that came with the enertia with the eigen? what do you guys think about that? would the spacers techT uses work in the eigen and would there be any benefit?
