200 rnd hopper mod to a 50 rnd

I'm wondering if this is even possible to do. I found an old vl200, and i'm curious if anyone has ever done/seen a mod to turn a 200 round hopper into a 50 round hopper. I only ask because there's a big game coming up and they only allow 50 round hoppers on one of the days. Iv'e checked around and haven't been able to find anything.

their is a 40rnd hopper and a 100 rnd hopper. some people take a dye lock lid, take the standard lid off, then glue the lock lid on..gives a couple extra balls, and locks onto it..

APP makes a 50 rd hopper as well. Probably the best one aside from the Winchester pocket hoppers.

I've heard of people cutting off the front of 200 rd hoppers (ahead of the neck), trimming some material away, and melting the trimmed front back on. Somewhere on here, someone modded a revvy that way. Or a similar way. Looks funky, but you'd have a smaller capacity hopper in the end.
