It's more like xball race-to 3. You play a match of consecutive points. First to 3 wins.

Basically xball is played with 5 people on the field at a time. It is a race event meaning you play consecutive points with 2 min between each.. ( not a lot of time when you have to refill air and paint, and also clean up to get ready for the next point) which is why teams typically have a second line of 5, making each team with 10 players on a roster. With D5 being race to 2 you dont need 10 players but a few more than 5. D4 race to 3 its ideal to have 10 but doable with less.
