Could somebody help me on a new gun ?
Hello I'm looking to buy a new gun .. Right now I have a invert mini , virtue board , ninja 50/4500 , and dye rotor set up . What would be a good choice for a new gun ? I don't know my range to spend but I already have about $1200

Well if your looking to spend 1200$ you could get a clone GT (ive never shot one) or a luxe. You can never go long with an ego11 or dm12, but it comes down to what you like and if you prefer spoolies or poppits

Get a Spyder Victor. Jk well I mean the mini is entry level so I mean it depends if your ready to bump up to a high end marker. u can also get a mid range marker maybe an etek or axe or something in the 450-800 range.

Do you have issues with you mini? Is there a laundry list of things that just annoy you about the gun?
I play with a mini on a college team no problem. Maybe I would get an ego when this thing finally kicks the bucket but as long as the gun is in perfect working condition, I'm keeping it. I really like the mini; it's small, it's light, it doesn't have much kick (it has some but not enough to really matter), it's pretty efficient with the right parts (operates as low as 120psi), you have an nice board in it,
Maybe get a boss or techt bolt and try for a lower operation pressure. Or get a new trigger or something. Or get a freak kit. Or get a shorter feedneck. Or get one of Numtech's parts. Or get an upgrade for your rotor. Or get some new softgoods. Or upgrade your mask if you have a crappy one. OR get yourself a nice pump setup and play around with that. There is a lot of things you can spend $1200 on besides a new gun.
Spend maybe a $100 on a few upgrades and spend the remaining $1100 on paint (like ~20-22 cases). That's almost enough to play every other weekend for a whole year.

Id say to save your money and get an axe it's a great gun and it can keep up with anything. However, if you are looking to spend all $1200 on a gun then id say just get a Luxe they're great guns, but idk if you would want to blow all that money on one gun

Good advice. You don't need a $1000 gun to play tournaments. That's like saying only the gun makes you a good player, and we all know that's not true. If your Mini is working great and you like it, stay with it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I used all my guns for years before I changed them, but it was really only because I was bored. However, if you're set on buying something else, this is what you might consider.
First of all, decide (by trying them out at your field or at the store) what you like. Spoolies, poppits, whichever you like the best. My advice, find something a year or two old (like an Axe, a DM, PM or a Timmy - my favorite go to guns though there are plenty more to choose from). I personally always bought new, but there's no need for that - if you can find a good one used and cheaper, go for it! Then use the rest of the money to get you a REALLY good mask that won't fall off or fog up when you need it the most and buy paint and air for practicing.
Consider getting upgrades for the gun you already have and make it the best it can be. In the long run, you make it YOUR gun, you know it well, and you are comfortable using it.

Keep the mini, throw a bolt in it and be done. Dont listen to people telling you to get a mid end gun. You have a mid end gun. There is absolutely no point in buying an axe when you have a mini. Unless you absolutely want an axe.
If you know that you are going to end up with a $1200 gun, just wait and get that gun if/when you can afford it. Otherwise your hurdles will get higher to get that $1200 gun if you buy another mid end. Then, you'll have your mini as a back up and your high end.
I recently bought an axe and I'd consider it a waste of money. I already had a dm6 at home but bought into the hype of the axe and the hype of the owner at a local store pumping up the axe telling me how its so improved and better than my dm6, yada yada. After half a case of paint, I regretted my purchase and put the axe away, pulled out the dm6 as it was the better gun.

One great gun that is not too expensive is the Empire Axe it is a amazing gun and you can get a regular axe brand new for $450 or you can get a AXE PRO on ans gear for $720 with a OLED board and a nicer grip. I love the axe ive played with one 3 times and i loved it and havent heard anything bad about it everyone who has had one says they love it like a high end. I have a friend who just came from a geo 2.1 to a axe and he loves it. Infamous also shoots them. If your not into the axe you have enough money for a high end like a geo 3 if you get $150 more or luxe or ego11 or something. As far as the rest of your setup goes it is a solid setup you cant go wrong with a ninja tank and it is just your personal preference if you want to change the size. The rotor is super fast and great superhopper as well. Hope this helps.

At $1200 get a used Geo 3. Honestly at that price range only the most expensive markers new are out of reach. Really from a Mini to a top end. Save the cash and get maybe an Axe or if you want really fancy a Geo 2 or 2.1 or used Ego.

if you have 1200 and are looking to upgrade to something a little nicer get the axe, completly diffrent then the mini shooting wise with similar feel, get a boss bolt and call it a day, if you want something like an ego get a used one on trademygun's website or if you want a spool valve check out the reflex's or the drones

I've always liked PE markers. I'd go with an Ego11 or Geo 3.

Luxes for life, I've had axes, minis, egos, geos, clones, nts, dms, and shot pretty much every gun on the market, I love my Luxes. The only issue is efficiency but it dominates in my opinion
