Looking to play UWL this weekend
Anyone need an extra player? I have been trying to play UWL for years, and now that it is at SC Village, I would love to be able to play.

Don't look at it as a reflection of your ability or reputation. I've noticed that, in the last year or two, teams are more likely showing up with complete rosters than in the first couple of years when they might be one or two short going in. I think as UWL gets more popular, the UWL focused teams are attracting more UWL minded players, where in the earlier days it was competition minded scenario teams that were making up the majority of the competition pool and having a scenario team of 16 people didn't always translate into 10 that were willing to compete or travel to compete. I also think that the economy is starting to recover a little, so teams are able to travel a little more. Or I could be full of ****.

No I know. I just really want to play! And I am new to SoCal so I don't really know everyone...especially the Scenario teams!

My advice, go show up to the tournie early with you gear ready. there is ALWAYS a spot open somewhere. best of luck to you! UWL is a blast!

I walked through, but played mostly on the speedball field. It looked like a lot of fun, and I am sad I didn't get to play. Hopefully next event.
