Ion wont turn on. Help!
So I have an ion and it's never let me down before. It's been a backup for about three years so I haven't used it much but when I have used it its always performed but this last time I took it out it just took a **** on me in a game. It turned off and won't turn on anymore. Any help would be appreciated yes I swapped the batteries. I just really hope it's not the board. Thanks in advance.

Check to see if your power button is still intact. Prior to the board not turning on anymore, how difficult was it to turn on the board?
Check your battery wires, they may have broken. Definitely make sure you're using a good brand name 9v battery (Duracell, Energizer, etc.).

Yeah, as posted above...
1. Pull a brand new brand name battery out of the package and put it in (don't use one that's been sitting around)
2. Check battery wires to make sure they're in good shape
3. Throw Ion on ground and see if it helps

It was pretty simple hit the power button for a second and it turned on. I haven't checked the battery wires but they have both been Duracell batteries

Sometimes they just go bad and sometime the buttons will go bad even though they are still intact they might be bad. And as they said above it could battery harness which I think it would be if it just turned off randomly because even if it was a button problem it wouldn't of just turned off on you

you may simply need a new battery harness.
