Hmmm not that I'm aware of. I know what you are talking about though, like how certain markers have a particularly vulnerable o-ring or something. However I haven't noticed on my victory. Just be sure to use the right lubes and also to get some sort of low pressure output regulator

As long as you lube them up after every few times of play, and check your pressures when you're done, you'll be fine.

They shoot very tight ropes of paint. Used many of them. Got away from it because of the reg length, but the updated ripper fixed that one for me.

Back to a vic I go

I'm also thinking of picking up a ripper victory I have a 2011 g6r now but I'm scared of a lot of orings? And does the victories require lp tanks also?

I asked about the ripper a week or two ago. I got my ripper but traded it for a v2. I have had the ripper and a v1 vic. My son had a ripper also. I love the guns. However with that said I wouldn't spend the extra on the ripper but that is my peronal preference in milling. The gun is easy to maintain w/ dow55. Pretty much idiot proof really to work on. Smoothness is right in line with my sons pooty vapor imo. If you're going to buy one without shooting it first get a v1 w/ sc. They can be had for $500 +-. V2's wll still cost around $650+ and a ripper will still set you back $800+. All the same internals if the v1 has the sc. I really can't say enough good things about the guns.

just make sure you keep a close eye on the two back bolts of your Vic when you buy them Bob says to use a tiny bit of blue thread lock to keep em in place. And I mean tiny tiny tiny.
