Hey so I stopped playing after Chicago of the 2010 season and at the time I was shooting a NT well I sold it and I'm now getting back into it, and my question is why has the value of the gun dropped so rapidly?

Mine never gave me a problem, so i dont understand why its being bashed, but oh well good for me i get a good gun for a low price lol

Pretty much what my local shop owner said.
A bunch of people started buying NT's and didn't know how to tune them properly. After some time, a ton of complaint/problem threads started appearing, and I suppose those same people just wanted to get rid of their NT's. Wala, price drop.
I'm not complaining. I picked up a perfectly fine NT 11 for $550.

yeah im in the process of getting a NT10 now just cause i like that one more than the 11 i think

Well. Yes people can't read manuals, but you also need to look at what it takes to keep an NT running properly. Basically you need a medium parts kit, because it's not just o-rings and boards you need to worry about it's springs, bumpers, flow inserts and eye pipes. And to be frank I wouldn't have sunk $1,500 into a gun at launch with that kind of maintenance required and no sort of confirmation from dye that you'll always be able to get parts for it.

I mean now, me picking one up for $450 makes sense so I did. I have a medium parts kit, I'll probably spring for the large.......and when I run out of spares I guess it'll go on a peg board. It sucks though because it's really hands down the best gun I've ever owned. I just wish DYE would say "hey 10 years from now, we'll have parts for it".
