So the "bolt" is stationary, I just need to find a way to remove the clips holding the spring in and then find a stiffer spring that will fit

Hi, heres a break down of the gun:

Some guys over at mcarterbrown have been changing up the springs in these and are able to get about an extra 40fps out of them. The problem is if you up the spring too much its going to smash the internals of the gun- they are only plastic! but good luck ill be interested to see what you guys can do.

we pulled the spring out of one and stretched it. it shot harder but didnt load right and chopped really bad.

Cool, that looks just like the internals of an airsoft pistol. I wonder if you could use some airsoft logic to upgrade it; it doesn't just end at the springs.

if there is a plunger system you can put tephlon tape on the oring to make more of a seal. did it with a nerf gun. but make sure theres not to much pressure after about 10 shot at about 70 yards each the back cap of the gun popped out.

It's hard to tell, but that spring looks very similar to an airsoft spring

The entire assembly does, you could actually get better results on an airsoft forum.
