I've got a leak coming through one of the set screws on my 1.0. I replaced a few of the orings and serviced the reg, and it just won't stop leaking. I didn't use any teflon tape on it, but I didn't figure I had to since I never have.

Ideas?

Not the piston oring. I replaced the piston already with a new one. The old one was damaged.

the set screws under the barrel? dont teflon them as it could get into your inner body. use 1 drop of blue lock tight let it dry over night

I'm sure the housing is damaged which is why it's leaking..

the set screw threads might be stripped. Thats what happened to mine. I ended up just ordering a whole new reg.

striped screws shouldn't leak... they aren't meant to seal at all. One of the set screws in my reg isn't even there. If its not the piston or its orings, it could be the oring inside the housing as described in the thread linked a few posts above. Good luck!
