monkey poo...
i have noticed ever since i started using monkey poo, i have to lube my gun half way through the day or it starts getting horrible bolt stick. I have used it on my previous luxes and didn't have this problem. i switched back to sleek but haven't played a day with it yet.

I didn't have any issues when I used Monkey Poo exclusively on my Luxe. I have since mixed Monkey Poo with Lurker Lube and have no issues. Maybe you're not applying enough?

I have the exact same problem. I am looking to change lube but don't know what lube to switch to. Ideas?

Lurker Lube. Lurker Lube has been designed specifically for paintball use and has a track record second to none. We @ FixMyGat use nothing BUT Lurker Lube on anything that doesn't require DOW 55, which means EVERYTHING.
The Luxes are cold weather snarky, so Lurker Lube would definitely be a plus.

I personally use Violent PB Jelly and their oil. This is my personal preference but here is why I use it:
-Love violent products, so I expected this to be great from the beginning
-Lube has Teflon in it, so it is "supposed" to sink into/hold onto the o-rings better. Not sure how true this is, but I have never had bolt stick or FSDO.
-I lube my Luxe (and I have used this lube on EVERYTHING besides my BL's) and then put ONE drop of oil onto the bolt and mix it in so it thins out the lube a bit for the cold. <---This could very well be why I never experience bolt stick/FSDO.
-As of right now, I have not lubed my luxe in about 2, 2 1/2 months. It sits in my trunk with all my other equipment until I need it (I play every weekend and shoot 2 cases a practice). It has been quite cold in jersey and CT, yet I have never had any issues with the cold when I use this method of lubing.
-The people I have recommended this to, absolutely love it.
-And finally...as far as I can tell the teflon in the lube really does make it last longer since I rarely lube it.
Sorry for the long response, but I felt compelled to explain why I use the lube I use. Most people just put the name of what lube they use and leave it at that (sorry Naumoff ). Hope this helps!

There are a lot of lubes out there and many of them work quite well. I found that militia lube worked awesome in my clone and any other gat that used buna orings. In my experience, many of them decrease the life span of urethane orings such as those found in the Luxe. I've had the best luck with Dow33 or it's rebranded forms such as SL33K. I'm curious to try Lurker Lube, but honestly 33 does everything I need it to, so why mess with success.
To the OP, it sounds like you have an oring on the outs. As the grease wears away, it starts to leak.

Still don't understand what that is. Until I hear some real answers i'm just going to assume that it's colored sl33k.

To me it's like a d33 and slick honey baby lube. Thin like slick honey but still have that thickness to last. If that makes any sense at all.

Monkey Poo is too thin and doesn't stay in place well. I recommend the factory Gr33se (dow33)

I just find it too embarrasing chasing a monkey with a baggie.

This.
The only 2 lubricants I will ever recommend to anyone, as a 9+ years as an air smith is Dow 33 (SL33K) or Lurker Lube.

Hater sauce is a HORRIBLE lubricant. It becomes runny and slips into areas that it shouldn't be. Send any gun back to any MFG with hater sauce in it, they WILL void your warranty.
