Keyboard/mouse took a ****, or my computer screwed up my dongle. Pretty sure something (static) is killing things in my USB port. Lost a 16gb thumb drive last week.
I think it's time for a new entertainment stand where I can get the computer off the floor.

Most likely. Mid-range cards are ~150-200

Right now, no single card will run 8 monitors...
However, it doesn't take a lot of power to run 8 monitors, unless you're running intensive applications on all of them. I can slap an 8800gt in my system and run it at 999999999x999999999 all day long for productivity-type ****.

Should've said no mainstream card.
And I would never buy anything that wasn't mainstream if it was something like that.
Edit: Matrox's graphics cards only seem to support 2-4 monitors. They have boxes that will take a big image and send different parts to different monitors. That's totally different and it doesn't render video... Nor is it a graphics card.

None of their hardware would do well with very graphically-intensive stuff... It's not made for that.
