Ok, somebody in the OP's area arrange to be a "rental" for a day and yank a knot in this turds tail. I'm too far away or I'd offer. Just show up in jeans and a t-shirt and a decent barrel for the rental, ID the target & go to town. Oh, I'm sorry did I overshoot while bunkering you

Problem is he gives up before you can even get close to him. "I'm out of paint." "I'm out of air." Pain in the ***.

Then what you need is a pump player using a semi. He'd never know they were close until after he got lit up. Unless he's playing back & camping especially if he's not playing Airball he'd be toast. While immensely satisfying this won't solve the problem.
So at this point it may be in the field owners best interest to make him some other field's problem. Even at 2 cases a day ever other weekend he's probably preventing recurring revenue by beating up on walk-ons.

Get the speed ballers and at the beginning of the game take all the retals off his team and put only speedballers on his team and maybe he will think that's fun

Putting the better players with him on the team won't make it better...

If you bunker him right, he won't know until it's too late. I don't have to be one bunker away to be in bunkering distance. Sometimes I can sprint across the entire field and bunker someone.

Problem is, we don't have bunkering in woodsball. We have a 20 feet surrender rule where you have to shout out surrender to an opponent if you get within 20 feet, where the opponent has to decide whether they want to surrender or not. I probably won't even be able to get within that distance before he gives up. Not trying to hate on him, but he is a pretty big *****.

You know some refs have given me leeway against *******s and did nothing when I bunkered them. They just watched to see what would happen. How does the person being bunkered even know what's coming? Half the time when I bunker someone he is looking the other direction, unloading on someone else, or wiping a hit.

How do you shoot your own hopper? I gotta see that.
Back on subject you can play games with him, change the rules or try a alot of options but in the end your not going to solve the problem unless you just talk to him and be honest.
One of the fields I play forces me to go against rentals because they only have a few experienced guys at any given time and one field but I try and take it easy on them. But is not as easy as you think, I shoot an etek3 so its not shooting 20bps anyway but the rentals are shooting as fast as they can mostly so you gotta stay competitive. The big thing is just dont bonus ball, shoot them up close or ramp. The fact your field even allows ramping at all seems like a bad decision, no offense I am sure you didnt make the rule.

I thought about that but I just cant imagine anybody doing that in a game. Maybe he meant to say pod pack.

Jesus man, learn some punctuation, I struggled reading anything you wrote.
Back on track, just some other ideas, my field does mod vs mech groups. Mechs is all the rentals and squib guns that come through. Its basically the beginner group without saying it has anything to do with skill. The mod group is all the people with (generally here) electric setups, hoppers, HPA, the whole 9 yards. Now the groups don't play each other (I wrote it oddly) and the people in the groups are not limited to people they can beat on. It works really well where we are since people don't assume its all based on skill.
Other ideas are just so tell this kid to grow a pair, that the small group you have is waiting on another person to show up putting them over 15, that these guys dont want to play against electros. If you eliminate you from excluding him ie. they dont want to play electro instead of I dont want you playing these guys, then it makes the whole process much easier.

We allow ramping on the speedball field because that's how the game is played. For woodsball, we will do semi, but if no one minds ramping, we will allow it, but that's usually for the experienced woodsball players.

Making the game fair isn't a problem. We also make fair teams, that's not what the problem here is. It's just this one kid who can't hold back against rentals, like relax, it's not a tourney.
