Fixing Airball bunkers

Hi! Guys I have a couple of questions:
What is the best way to fix or gluing airball bunker that have actually work for you?
What is the type of glue or adhesives you use and have used that actually work?
If you have answers and suggestions please post or pm me!

TONS of answers on this already, try the search function.

Long story short though, many patches and adhesives used on airball fields are identical to those used for patching up inflatable boats (Not the wal-mart boats, the good ones) and you can often find both the patch kits and all the help you could want in learning how to apply them at a local marine supply/boat shop.

Other than that, others may have some suggestions for you but I doubt it will be anything you couldn't find in about 100 other threads here with the search function.

Make sure the area that you're getting ready to fix is clean, otherwise you'll be wasting your time. The glue is called HH-66. It's a lot like rubber cement. Read the directions carefully, and have at it. We've found that the glue is easiest to use in the early afternoon. If it's too cold, too wet, or not sunny, it doesn't seem to work as well.

Clean surface of any debris, use rubbing alcohol to finish cleaning off remainder or old paint. Surface area cleaned should be much larger than your patch. Cut patch big enough to overlay the hole by about 3 inches or more. Clean patch with alcohol also and then apply glue(HT66). Thin layer to both surfaces and press together. If you have a way to put pressure on it, then do that. Make sure the patch is flat and no creases. Allow at least an hour to cure and if you can wait, much more time. Air up when done and check your work.

You really should stick to HH66 (ah ah ah).
We have tried over a dozen brands of glue/rubber cement. Beside our own proprietary formula and the HH66, nothing else does a good job. (haven't tried HT66 yet)

Keep in mind the prep' is at least as important as the glue. Mark "4banger" got the fixing bunkers 101 couple of posts above. Follow that to the letter and you'll be fine.

If you do scuff up the area with sand paper remember that you have to clean it off again. I suggest a 3m tack cloth for that, but whatever you got to make sure that both surfaces are clean and clear of debris will be fine

Airball Vinyl Cement

Can anyone send me a link for the lowest priced distributor of HH-66 Vinyl Cement.

Thanks! Alot you guys! This is going to be a huge challenge since My Xball set are in pretty bad shape-the seams are coming undone! I am preparing the cleaning solutions to clear out the dirt and Gallons of Vinyl cements. I will post pics of before and after!

I also have tried several glues on the bunkers...

My favorite is available at Lowe's in a blue bottle, it is a PVC glue I think actually called a "Showerpan Adhesive." It's called X-15. Next time you are at Lowe's, grab a bottle and try it out. Their yellow bottle PVC cleaner works well too.
