Eflex vs Proto Pro Axis
So, I want a new mask, bored with what I have. These seem to be the only other two options for me.
I own a pair of Grillz. Been playing with them for about a year, not nearly as impressed as I thought I was going to be.
Owned several pairs of Profits. Look awesome, but I can't hear anything or breathe so I dont play with them anymore.
Never wore a pair of i4s, but I have a big head and never attempted, plus I dont like the look.
So the way I figure it there are the Eflex's and the Proto Pro Axis.
Thoughts?

If you're just bored of your mask, go with the Axis. If you're looking to get a few more bounces, tighter fit, and better breathing go with the Eflex.
Honestly though, if you're looking for a mask to be impressive you'll have a loooong mask whoring history. Also, the i4 is a "small" mask but it's not really THAT small. The i4 has been the most impressive mask I've ever used and I still would be using it if I didn't switch to the Grill for the better breathing.

I havent worn the Eflex yet, but you think the grillz have the best breathing? My grillz are pretty breathable, but the lenses suck. I havent switched to the new dual pane yet though, not sure if its worth it.

The Eflex breathes better, but it's hardly noticeable (Or at least to me).
As long as you clean the Grill lens how you're supposed to the single pane lenses are not going to fault you until you get above 80% humidity or have been using them for a season or more (which you should be changing out every season anyway, it's ****ing scary to have a lens crack on the field).

I've always been a fan of the flexs. I do think that the Proto mask is nice, but I'd still take a proflex, eflex, or flex 7 over the Proto

The Proto Axis Pros fit tighter than the E-Flex, but do not breathe as well nor have as good field of vision. They fit a lot like i3 Pros. Their lens removal system is great though. I have both and prefer my E-Flex.

proto axis all the way! Very solid mask: has one of the best lenses in the game, and I find it to have a superior profile to most masks out there. Also an easy mask to mount a cam to if you're into that sort of thing!!

Both masks basically have the same lense removal system. The axis will have a smaller profile. The eflex will be better on the air flow. Both have good lenses available

No they don't...
The ONLY thing they have in common is that you twist the straps, but that is IT. The entire front plate of the Proto mask comes off whereas the Empire system has a peg that you pull out and then pull the lens off.

Just an update. I bought a pair of eflex's and regret it. Played all night in them. Not very comfortable, felt big on my face, and the strap seemed loose. Breathing was nice through the mouth, but was offset by the fact that my nose was suffocated by the foam.
Anyone want to buy a pair of eflex's? lol.
