Looking for parts to build a Milli.

I have:
Bob Long Vertical feed body NIB
Bob Long Blast Single trigger frame (frame only needs internals)
Barrel

Need:
All Internals
(fatty stryker, valve, springs, etc)
And internals for the trigger frame or just an old single trigger frame.

Any help to locating these parts would be great.

Haven't had any luck in WTB thread.

I believe you could pick up a 2k3 spyder for all the parts you want, a spring kit from ANS or our favorite auction website.

I'd recommend going to eBay for that. Otherwise it'll be very hard to locate the parts you need since the are pretty much obselete.

I have searched Ebay and haven't found much. Will look for specific markers instead of random parts. I did find a spring kit, front block and expansion chamber. Really just need the lower internals now.

He would have to go back before 2k3 to find a gun that is fat strikered. That will be the hardest part to find.

The valve for a BLM is the same as any most spyder valves including the slim strikered guns. I know kingman changed the lower tube internals at some point around 2007 or so. Those parts I dont know about.

The trigger parts for that frame are also normal kingman spyder parts from that era. I ussually find them at online places like IIsports & the like. I havent looked for awhile.

Its good to see people still building the old guns up.

When were the fatty strikers no longer used?

Would it be possible to machine one (seems unlikely since they are hardened steel)?

Maybe you could use a slotted sleeve for use with a slim striker?

Fat strikers were phased out around 98-2000. I know my friends old TL+ was slim stikered and he bought that when I bought my first BLM. But I also know you could still get the SE's then. Just dont know if they were fat or slim at that point.

Yes you could machine one but the cost would be far more then buying a complete gun to steal the striker out of. A good shop can deal with the hardening since they are only case hardened anyway. Same goes for the sleeve idea. It would be cheaper to find a gun to steal a striker out of.

but still no luck with just an old beater spyder to rob parts from. Will keep looking. Thakns for the input.

Yea, some cool stuff, I've ordered with no problems. Have clean up some of the used parts and decent prices.
