How To: 45* Stick feed

Assembly: 5-minutes.
Shopping trip: however long it takes you to drive to Home Depot.

Home Depot Shopping List:
copper pipe, 3/4-inch (0.75"), about a foot of it
copper 45-degree elbow, 3/4-inch
"Plasti Dip" paint/spray

Assembly Instructions:
Stick the tube in the 45-degree elbow; attach with glue, solder, whatever you have laying around
Spray with Plasti Dip.

You've got a 45-degree stick feed for use with open class markers.
Want a more "stock class-ish" feed? 90-degree elbow.

Add a cap or feed gate to the end to keep paint from rolling out. CCI Phantom gate for extra style points.

Buy a "rubber chair leg foot" at Home Depot and cut it for extra ghetto points or a tight budget:

I love playing with a stick feed.

Its small, light, easy to use...and the rest of my gear load out never needs to change! I have since 'upgraded' mine and bought one that is at a 15* angle so it sticks up much less.

I can put this on any gun with a feedneck. So I use it on my open class pump and even on my Semi automag. We have a few people at my home field who even stick them on their electros!

Anyone else enjoy playing with Stickfeeds??

LOL! Not in many a year. And even with the rubber chair-leg foot trick!

That's exactly how we would roll out back in the mid 80's though. Stick-feeds and cigar tubes were the norm back when paint was $120-$130 a case.

You need to find yourself an old Razorback or Bushmaster! Props for kickin' it old-school!

Nylon chair foot caps are slimmer & cleaner than the rubber ones. I think the ones in the photos are nylon ones.

do you take off the chair knob to reload? or do you make a hole in the chair knob so you can reload with the 10rd tube without taking on and off the chair knob on the stick feed?

Cut a star into the chair foot. A 10 rnd tube should easily push through it and then the "fingers" of the star hold the paint in too. Like the end of a CCI feed gate.

A CCI freed gate also works, it's what I use. They cost about $6?

Soooooo HOT

what guns do you typically use with stick feed? Did you have to do any sanding for it to fit in the feedneck?

If the gun has a feedneck...this is what I use.

My pumps, my semi...I don't have an electro but if I did I would use this on that too.

With the home made one I had, the copper pipe needed a bit of extra tape to fit the feedneck.
