ETEK2 w/ STAR frame, cure 3 and zick2. Bought off individual getting out of the sport. Need major cleaning. Tore down and cleaned relubed/oiled. Shoots fine but only chronos at 268 ish using stock barrel. PROBLEM: LPR adjustment and REGULATOR adjustments have no effect on chrono FPS. No leaks. Help? Need to get chrono up to 275-280.

Check the QEV (if it has one) at the back. You'll unscrew the silver can with the barb off of the red block and check inside, if the black piece of rubber isn't in one piece, then you know your problem.

The QEV may be good but the diaphragm could have a small tear/hole. Might want to replace it.
