I just got a redefined board for my etek 2. I went to install it and found I had a small problem. The power nubbin on the board is too long to fit nicely in the frame. If you squeeze the grips tight, you can turn the board off or on. If you even look at the power button on the frame, the board can turn on or off.

What I am wondering is if there is an easy fix I can do for this. I assume I can cut the nubbin down, but I am not sure how to go about this nicely as the nubbin is squishy.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Having two threads is NOT how you go about fixing it.

This sounds odd, the power button should go in just fine and unless you have it sideways the grips shouldn't be interacting with it. Are you sure you don't have it upside down?

Second thread taken care of. Forgot I had it up. Sorry about that.

As for the rest, the grip issue is just a side issue anyway. Maybe I was just hitting the power button from outside as I squeezed the grips. But the board is installed the correct direction. It just seems that the button on the board is a fair amount longer than the one on the stock board.
