Team Opfor is starting paintball club in Muskingum Co Hopewell area

Not sure how many of you remember us from back in the day (before xball) but team Opfor is looking to start a woodsball/speedball paintball club in the Hopewell area of Muskingum County (between Newark and Zanesville). We are looking to see if there is any interest in the area of joining us in this new endeavour. We are looking to get started in Jan of 2013. Our goal will be to have fun playing paintball and eventually branch out into operating custom and unique scenario games and speedball tournaments. Obviously we are at the beginning of organizing the club and a lot of details are still TBD. The basic idea is to have a small monthly membership fee (dues) in exchange the club provides air fills and a location to play. We will have an organized structure of leadership to help facilitate the growth of the club. Might be interested in Speedball only. Where are you going to practice this winter?

Majority will rule on if we play speedball or woodsball so it would be impossible to say for sure when we would play what. We will be working this winter to get the woodsball field ready so there will likely not be much practice this winter.

2nd meeting complete. We will probably not do a monthly membership dues but a yearly dues. We will be getting the field ready to play with expectations that April 6th will ne our opening day. We will be exploring the possibility of hosting a speedball tournament by late summer. Ill post more info as it becomes available. Anyone interested in joining the club and help get the woods field ready for play, let me know.
