Sooo since there are only 3 teams now in D3 how is that going to work? since for some reason D4 teams need to have 2 teams in 1 division...cause that makes absolutley no sense...Crossfire, Venom, thunder, play one of your teams up a division instead of playing yourselves.

What happen all the d3 teams?? Where is nw devastation, code blue, cartel, aci. I also think the pump class should have stayed a 3 man. They never had a big enough turnout in 3 man to make the switch. My 2 cents. Looks like a great turnout for sure. 2013 may be a great year for wcps.

Code Blue isn't attending as we haven't had stable practice (still snow back home) and we felt that due to the circumstances, we could play but not compete to the full potential of our roster.
Us not attending doesn't have anything against the WCPS or the teams in it. We will be attending all other events in full force, it just didn't play out for this one.
ACI & NW Devastation haven't been active in WCPS since 2011 if I'm not mistaken.
I feel the drop in D3 teams isn't due to the WCPS not being a good series or not catering to the teams in that division - I think it all comes down to structure. D3 teams require a solid foundation of practice time, financing and a roster that has been together for a bit to podium. Thus either the teams cease or it takes them a season or two to build up that foundation.

Probably the main reason I know that teams are not moving up is the consistent time together as one unit to play consistent. If we had the same roster all year, and it didn't take us 8+ hrs to go to a single event, then we would be D3 this year. Its hard to have the same 5-7 people commit to traveling 8+ hours 4-5 times a year with 1-2 national events as well.

There is a link to register on the website. You won't need a physical card, but you'll need to register and get an APPA number.

Just thought of this and I feel dumb for not thinking of it sooner. Is there sideline coaching for D5?

And pay the $30 WCPS card fee for the season.... Does the team already exist in the APPA system? If not, you'll need to create your team, your team membership list, register for your event (and pay) and then create your event-specific roster (picking from your team membership list based on who is actually playing that particular event). If you need any help, I can walk you through it. Email me at leslie@pdxvexx.com if you want me to walk you through it... happy to help, and what team are you girls and who is playing with you? Just curious, as I talked to Rose yesterday about entering an all-girl team and I'm suspecting this is the same one? Let me know if I can help in any way.

So how will the d3 division work since you want us to play later? Can I show up at 12pm and be cool to play by like 2 or 3 or something. I would have to admit, not being up early would be cool lol
