Ninja tank help

Just curious, but removing the shims on the inside of the reg lowers the pressure, so would lowering make your gun more efficiant???

Not unless you have a G6r or Victory platform marker and are using the SLP reg.
Efficiency is controlled by how long the valve is open on your marker or your dwell. The lower the dwell the more efficient the marker. Too low of a dwell and the marker may only half cycle or you may get erratic velocity as the valve struggles to fully open and close. Sometimes the marker may not even cycle at all.
There is also a mechanical dwell on mechanical markers and sometimes that's a touch harder to control or dial in if you can at all. It depends on the marker. Electronic markers you can control it easily but you really have to know what you're doing or you can cause a lot of performance issues rather easily. Many of the newer markers are running with rather low dwell times already.
