I don't see the OLED being on the left being an issue at all. I've played with plenty of marker and I shoot with both hands. So the only thing on the OLED screen you would need to see is time clock but its not a problem you can get used too.
As for asking about Vs the geo or clone it's honestly hands down a clone, it's smoother, more efficient and runs at a lower internal pressure allowing you to shoot real brittle paint without breaking.

You never really need to see your screen while you're playing. Also if you're playing properly you're going to want to shoot with both hands so where the screen is doesn't really matter.
I've shot a Geo3 (never owned one) and I much prefer the shot of the GT. If you asked this question in the Versus forum, you'd get plenty of people that would say get the GT, and plenty say the Geo3. Many things about each gun are personal preference, so I'd suggest trying to get your hands on each one and just try them out.
There is not a large percentage of people in my area that shoot MacDev, and whenever I let someone try my GT, the typical response is simply "WOW."

No it wont. The oled screen is underneath the grips. There is a plastic screen protecting it and that you can view through. The screen is slightly recessed and positioned where you wont be pushing against it.
Honestly, it shouldnt matter what your dominent hand is. If you play paintball correctly you should be using both of your hands in equal amounts.
I am a righty and I use my left hand just as much when I play.

People find the nitpickiest junk to complain about with the clone. It doesn't have a PE logo on it so fanboys will try to discount it's greatness. Almost every clone vs geo thread posting in the right area leads to an overwhelming preference for the GT. It is smoother, quieter, more efficient and IMO has a much more pleasant shot. I do like the grips and OLED placement on Geos, but it stops there. The MacDev drone shoots on par with a geo and is like ~$700 less.
The issues with the original GTs have been corrected, but some people like to bring up the noid and screen. MacDev has a new noid with a stronger coil that is rock solid. They also released a new batch of screens to fix the early issues.
I strongly encourage you to shoot both to solidify your position as a MacDev owner.

There are pics of the GT noids in the "GT Noid" thread a couple posts down. You could just have the person take a pic of the noid that's selling the GT used. There were a couple different versions of the pilot block, so the big thing you're looking for is whether or not the coil block on the noid has the silver piece at the end as these were the original noids.
As for the screen, there is no way to tell which iteration you would be getting. Not all early screens or early noids were problematic either, just some.
Only sure fire way to know you're getting all the newest stuff, and to have a warranty, is to buy new.

That's up to you. Really depends on how valuable the warranty is to you. I bought new because I like to have a warranty and I prefer having a gun touched by me, and only me.
I prefer the GT over the Geo or the Luxe, so nobody can answer the second question but yourself.

everyone here is going to tell you to own a gt. just buy a used quality gt and shoot it. if you experience an issue an oled screen go down you can get one for 30 bucks new. the noid going down isn't common but im sure MD can help you still. if you buy a used gt for like 900-1000 when they are brand new for 1400-1600 and you put a 130 (solenoid and screen) into for the updated repair parts you still saved around 400 bucks

I have an original noid and mine is still going strong. If its a first gen. noid and its still working great chances are you dont need the new noid.

They are pretty similar depending on tuning, but the quietest clones I've heard are probably some of the quietest guns I've ever heard.

See below. Geo3 would disappoint you depending on what is important. The luxe is uncomfortable to me, but it shoots ok. It is pretty inefficient though.

A "Gen T." This isn't BL where there are gens... depends on where he bought it and their stock. You're worrying too much about problems you might not have.

Your GT will be great! I have one, and figured it would be a problematic marker right out of the box but no, it shot great! Shoots quite smooth and is quiet. I would definitely consider picking it up and maintenance was nowhere near as hard as I was expecting.

First off congrats on your GT purchase...I was a PE fanboy for many years shot every type of marker they made...when the Geo come out I was all for it....and as for now I'm a clone GT owner and I'm never looking back...sooo much smoother, consistent , efficient and best all round performing marker . You won't be disappointed
