Yeah, even if ND already has done a thorough investigation you'd think he would just come out and say that they will wait to comment until everything is made light to the public.

You never know how someone from a different culture or with socially awkward tendencies. I just have so many questions, and none of this makes sense.
If he is a true victim of a hoax, then who the hell was the girl that was talking to him, and why did she go along with it?
If he is behind the hoax or in on it, what did he have to gain? I mean, it would have already been enough of a story battling grief from his dead grandmother. Plus at the time it happened he wasn't even in the conversation for Heisman and Notre Dame wasn't yet in the top 20.
Why did Te'o wait until December 26 to report the call from his "dead" "girlfriend" when he received the call three weeks earlier?

To me it seems like Tuiasosopo probably has this online persona that he's used multiple times and he either used it to fool Manti or they joked that he was in a relationship with "her" and it just got blown out of proportion. It still begs the question who was the girl in on it with Tuiasosopo who would have had to provided a voice for "Kekua" or possibly appeared in person to meet Mauia?
