yeah ive tried new batteries and several dwell settings...as well as adjusting regs in very small increments...like 16ths or even 32's of a turn...i love ripper milling and was seriously contemplating getting a ripper vic....but screw that...i would never buy something that is this much of a pain in the ***. and I love every bob long ive ever owned....and Ive owned a LOT of them....i mean damn....my Freestyles were more reliable and easier to tune then this particular vic......and thats not saying much. oh well i love a challenge...its my rubics cube...

If nothing changed its not schraders. Replace the donut and blast guide. Also, the 4 small 06 orings on the outside of the engine. I'm quite sure this will do the trick. How many shots are on your noid? Is it gunked up?

no idea how many shots on the noid. its my friends gun and he got it used so no way to tell. I got the orings today. Completely tore everything down....every part that can be taken apart has been de-oringed cleaned in my kitchen sink with hot soapy water and will assemble tomorrow time permitting. I also disassembled and cleaned noid. had some lube in it but no too too bad. also looks like a small cut/nick in the seal of the hpr shrader valve. doesnt look like that seal can be replaced...so will have to call blast for a new one. will keep you all posted.

I'm thinking the schraders valve needs to be changed.

That is too bad, this seems like one of the more complex issues I have seen. You will be a great Vic tech once you get it figured out

im noticing the manual doesnt show all of the oring sizes. Thats absolutely ridiculous.....There are several that I have noticed...sure would have been nice to know before I ordered my orings.....does anyone have a breakdown of the entire gun showing every oring size?

So it was either the hpr shrader, noid cleaning, blast guide polishing, or the changing of every single oring (other then the few that weren't in the manual...) that fixed it. Really don't care at this point Dwell 6, started hpr @ 200 and lpr @ 80. that gave me 260. then increased hpr a little up to about 275 fps and then it started to drop velocity so bumped lpr up a tiny bit, then a little more hpr and its golden. consistent too, +- 5 fps. Not sure what pressures i ended up with and i really don't want to look.... thanks for the help guys. I contacted xeese about the missing oring sizes maybe he or i'll make a seperate thread once everything is figured out so when people need a COMPLETE oring kit they know what sizes to order.

That's how I felt after reading through some of the threads here and watching a few tech videos. I'm still a little unfamiliar with the engine but everything else is honesty pretty straightforward on the victory

i thought about trying to hand it off to someone for the NPPL, but lack of internet education on what venders were in town and known people who would be willing to pick it up from my house kind of held me back. not too worried about it. i have a plan of action for R and R when i get back

gun update number 501
decided to send the wife to drop the gun off at the vegas nppl anyways, it went home with a company called tc paintball out of michigan because bob didn't show. almost two months later i have a new blast guide in my gun and still can't chromo above 260. even more, after a 6 week turn around, when i first checked the pressures on the gun they were 300+(my tester gauge doesn't go above 3) hpr and 90 or so on the lpr. looking at the history of this thread, whats left to do? i desperately want to play with this gun, but i'd also like it to shoot across the field. ideas?

HPR should not need to be above 200.

Having the HPR so high will make it harder for the ram to open the valve, giving you a low velocity.

Yup. Per manual pressures should be 2-210 hpr and 75-85 lpr. Gonna start from scratch tomorrow with a fresh beer! Or mind, that too
