DBS Flood will be holding tryouts at DBS Indoor on Thursday Jan 17th and Thursday Jan 24th. Interested players will be expected to attend both days. In particular we are looking for forwards, but all types of talented players will be considered.

DBS Flood will be playing Division 1 in the VPL series and will potentially be playing NPPL Vegas. Our expectations are as follows:

- Able to attend weekly Monday night practices from 7:00-9:30pm
- Available to occasionally play Thursday nights and weekends
- Eager to accept coaching, learn and improve
- Able to attend VPL Events (these are in Canada so you must have or be able to get a passport or EID)
- Can afford the expensive sport of paintball. Total practices costs will be around $200 a month and events are generally $200-400.
- Owns working gear
- Has reliable transportation
- Interested in positively representing the DBS program
- Postive attitude and good work ethic

If you are chosen, you will be granted access to private Monday night practices, coaching from the best in the Northwest and the opportunity to be a part of a successful team with good chemistry.

If you are interested, please post in this thread, attend the two tryout dates and introduce yourself to the DBS Flood players at the tryouts. Note that Division 1 is the highest division in the VPL series. Less experienced players that show promise may be considered for other DBS teams such as DBS Killmode.

Normal Thursday pricing (buy a case of your choice and get free entry and air).

Trying out for DBS teams is an extensive process. On these Thursdays we would like to watch people play games to get a sense of their body mechanics, aggression, communication, etc.

This round of tryouts is like a first date. We want to figure out if we'd like to get to know you better. If we like what we see, you'll be invited to attend a Monday practice so we can get a sense of your attitude, coachability, personality, etc. You can get a sense of whether or not you really want to be a part of our program and enjoy our Monday paintball bootcamps.

If you leave Seattle around 5pm you should be there by 6pm or a little before. Look for the guys in the Flood jerseys and introduce yourself.

Games usually get going between 6:30 and 7:00pm (depending on traffic) and then happen at a rapid fire pace until 9:00pm.
