Not rare in regards to production, but rare to find nowadays. No rolly delrin ball... we're talking a metal dome-shape knuckle. Highly sought after in order to solve double feeding issues when the Halo came out - they extend slightly further than normal detents.

After posting those pics, I've had MethodCaptain wanting one, LOL. If anyone else is interested, let me know, I'll see what I can do. Unbeknownst to a lot of people WDP still has parts and still sells product. I know of an order being placed this week, so I'll see what I can get. Let it be known there is a difference between these two skulls back plates. The one on the right is rarer than the one on the left. It's also of better quality and construction.

Anyone know what kind of volumizers these are? They seem to be pretty rare. May have been designed for the Rock lcd or ir3... not sure.

I wouldn't mind having one of those skull backplates. I'd have a hole drilled for the flashing LED light on the backplate. That'd be pretty neat. Thinking the eye socket, if it lined up correctly.

On left is one produced by WDP. It is not rare. Came in chrome and pewter

On right is one produced by Killer Grips, sold primarily through the now defunct paintballpins (also animal and doro). Came individually or as a set in pewter, black chrome (what you have shown) and pure chrome (I have never seen one of these, not sure they exist but they were on the website). The set was grips, sight rail, breech knob, and back plate.
