Ape board on Ion is dead
Okay so I think my board fried on my Ion finally....it's old and has had a lot of use! Is there any other board out there that has the rear grip membrane pad? I have a custom grip frame made for the APE pad. I think it is a syth grip.

Death wish is on pbn as well. I don't know if the rear membrane you have currently will work with his boards, but that board does support a rear membrane. nor do I know if he has any boards left, but I would definitely give him a shout.
