CSL air question
I just bought a CSL and it shoots great but on a 45 fill I go through 6 maybe 7 pods and a hopper with my high pressure 68/45. This don't sound right to me. Any thoughts?

You should get a few more. Return the marker to stock settings (look in the manual)
They get better after some use.
The DART kit helps a bit.

I noticed that you are not the origional owner.... If I buy a second hand marker I give it a full strip clean and O-ring rebuild, change everything to stock and see what happens.. 99.9% of the time whatever problem/s that were there are now gone and you have a perfect gun.
With the CSL;
Rebuild everything, check you are initially running 5/7, LPR 2 from flush, dwell 14 and tune from there bro..
Hope that helps.. OH.. and match your paint to your barrel

Yes check and replace all orings.
Also had a previous owner change up everything in the reg.
Send it to get damaged. But I put everything like it should be for I aired up. That's a must for a second hand high end marker

The dwell is at 15.5 and everything else is stock too. Seine told me that the gun has a setting for high or low pressure tanks. I has a high pressure tank. Does this matter?

The CSL came with two valve guides. A HP and a LP. Do you know which one is installed on your CSL?

there is no "setting" for a HP or LP tank, just rip her apart, rebuild her, lube her up nice and go shoot a bucket load of paint and all your problems will be solved.
15.5 is stock for a CSL my retardation I was thinking about my 08

How many pods can you shoot on a 45 fill ( if you have a 68/45 ) on your CSL? Just so I have kind of a heads up.

To my understanding i believe he was talking about the valve guides, not the tank output

Ok I just had the marker opened and it had a LP guide. I have a hp tank so we put the hp guide in. Also my friend said that my LPR was a little off. The screw needs to be flush with it right?
So should changing it to the hp fix my problem?

Does it make the air last longer with it flush? Also I know 15.5 is stock on the dwell but if you turn it down to say 14 will it be ok or should I leave it at 15.5?

I don't know if it makes it any better on air, I fill up after every game and have never run out. I would leave it at 15.5 unless you have a chrono you could tune the DWELL. Leave it stock though, you really shouldn't have an issue.

Well I was running a LP guide in Ethernet gun with my hp tank and the air wasn't that good. I went through 5 pods and a hopper and only had 100psi left on a 45 fill. Now that we changed the guide and put a hp guide in to match my tank will my air be better? And if so by how much do you think?

I am not familiar with lp and hp guides so i cannot tell you if that will make a difference. Probly not much. I have shot 7 pods and a hopper in a game with my 11 though on stock settings. I doubt the guide will make a huge difference in your case, i could be wrong.

What was your fill on that and how much air did you have left?

I run a Ninja 68/45 HP tank with the LP valve installed and get 8 pods and a hopper (thats all I carry for a game) and walk away with about 1500psi left.
My settings:
SFR's 1/7
Dwell: 14
LPR: 1 1/2 turns from flush
With dwell and LPR every gun is different... Read the sticky's on this forum on how to dwell tune ect and it will go a very long way to fixing your problem
