Pm7 Lpr Cap Not Screwing On All The Way

Anyone having this issue?
i will have pics up tonight to better describe what my issue is.

i put the LPR in like you are suppose too then i go to put the cover screw on it and it does not screw in all the way. like the lpr is not in all the way but it is.
any help would be appreciated.

I would just re-evaluate how you did everything. Theres ovbs something not in right, otherwise it would screw in all the way. I would take our your LPR, and re-install it making sure its installed properly.

i have many times and i even took out the set screw to make sure it does not snag on it and still same issue. Thanks for the input.

Are the threads damaged at all? On the body or the LPR cap?

they are not.
i can screw it on all the way when the LPR is not in the gun.

Without brass piece in it goes on correctly.

With brass piece in with it turned in all the way it does not go on all the way

This is as far as the brass piece will go in
If I turn it out the cap has to be screwed out as well. If you want to see different pics let me know and ill get em up
