Dragon has a new goggle for next year called the NFX, basically the APX but with a flat lens rather than the spherical APX lens. They're pretty dope, and Giro has some sick stuff coming out next year as well

finally healed the knee up from a failed snowboarding attempt, so i attempted skiing...
Went decent, except i had a hell of a time trying to slow down on the icy trails, since it was my first time.
Ate **** a few times, but...was a bit more fun being able to go more than 20' without falling.

Check out whiskeymilitia.com for goggles. GREAT deals every now and then (new deal every half hour or so on some boarding or sports related stuff). Great goggles for $30 or less sometimes.

Helmets aren't too expensive though, I got a nice Burton Red for $50 at Dick's I think.
