has anyone tried to change the shell of the the Z2 front cone to a modded prophecy 240 cone?

You would have to use the whole V2 shell around the Z2 backbone and board along with trim the feedneck.

I already did that but i wanna check if anyone has done. I wanted to know if your assuming/guessing or you're 100% sure.

The "height" of the shells is lower on the Z2 and due to the complex surface shape I don't see anyway you could modify an older 240 body shell front to fit the rears of the Z2.

Your only option is to use the full set of shells as gamer565 mentions, if you want the larger 240 front.

It's been a while coming, but there will eventually be a set of 240 shells released to fit the Z2. I just don't have a release date yet. It should be soon though.

this is great news simon. by the way i have a prophecy and all of my prophecy shells are starting have micro crack on the side.

so as long as i have a back bone mod on the prophecy i can fit the a full Z2 shells.
