When you win a psp

I think if you win a psp you should get a giant belt buckle. Exactly like bull riding. You can only do so much with a medal. Plus a big belt buckle looks like a wrestling belt and is an awesome conversation starter in bars. It doesn't have to be supplied by psp. I think most people would buy one after there first win. Like state championship rings. Hey Camille and Lane make this happen.

I say if they aren't giving away cash prizes for lower divisions, might as well make the trophies something to be proud of. The plaques are pretty cool but I think the NPPL has them beat with the Big cup-like trophy

as fun as i think that huge buckle would be, that would only appeal to part of the paintball community. I'm from the south, and from a fairly country surrounding, but very few of us in the sport come from rifle-owning, duck-hunting, rodeo-going, horse-riding type backgrounds. i by no means personally connect with it. and taking a wild guess, neither do the russians, those south americans that cause a ruckus at cup, asians, keith brown, and most of t1 topgun. get a buckle if you want, ill take that massive nppl-like cup trophy.

It may not have been the nicest way to say it, but he has a point. I think a more pleasant way to put it is that around here, the nicer sports bars control their target demographic by declining to show auto racing or fights on TV.

You don't play PSP events to impress people. You play it for love of the game, the unique experience that can only be had here, and the chance to grind it out with the best teams this country has to offer. I don't know about you, but I have yet to see any real team walking around the next event with medals from the last one hanging around their necks. They earn respect on the field by winning and the only thing you need to see is the team name on the front of that jersey. Fight your way to the top of this page and you won't need a belt.

If you want to talk about practical worthwhile prizes, take the top teams of lower divisions at the end of the season and hook them up with a real sponsorship if they don't have one already. Give them a reason to really commit and grow our league.

Ok then, no giant belt buckle. What about a belt, like boxing.

I just read this and this is funny. Your attempting to make some generalized grandiose statement about what playing PSP is about. You know what its really about? Having a good time with your friends. At least that's what it is for me and most of the guys I know. And I've won one with my friends, and you know where that medal is? Me either. Lost it in a move. However, I was simply trying to say it would be cool to have the giant belt/belt buckle.

Why you may ask?

You could take shots off of it. Just wear the belt around the house, nothing else. Take it to pool parties. Use it to elbow drop your roommate with. Get hot girls to wear nothing but the belt around the house. Get hot girls to take shots off of it. Act like Rick Flair. Eat steak off of it as if it were a plate.

I'm afraid you don't see the full potential of the belt. Ask Houston Heat, would they rather have a medal or a Giant championship belt? I think Federov doing his best drunken rendition of "The Macho Man" would change your mind.
