Etha having an firing issue.
I love my Etha, but it's been having an issue lately.
It will work fine, then after about an hour or so of play, not consistently shoot. The light will go purple, and pulling the trigger will make a little "pfft" sound. The next trigger pull may be fine and shoot normal(light blue), or may be the same.
One week, I changed the battery, seemed okay to start, then started having the same issue.
Next week, I totally cleaned the gun(was changing to the new springless poppet), re-greased, and tried gun. Seemed to work fine at home, and to start, then had the same issue.
This week i cleaned the BBSS sensors, put it back together, and tried it at home. Two hoppers, and no issue what so ever. Even stopped, awaited like ten minutes, tried again. Went to play yesterday, got through one game, and during the middle of the second, same thing. Grrrrr.
One thing I must say, is that this issue has ONLY been happening since the weather here in Southeastern Massachusetts got cold. But not REALLY cold. Haven't played in temps below 30 degrees.
My next step is to try a high end 9v battery.
HELP ME PBNATION, YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE!!

I think a non-quality battery in the cold will do this. Try the new quality battery and see if that fixes the problem.

It definitely sounds like a battery. A brand name battery should do the trick. I have an Energizer max in mine and it works great.

I have been using(Since April) just regular Energizer batteries. I bought an Energizer Advance Lithium. Hope that does the trick.
I read that some people recommend a Duracell ProCell, but I couldn't find those.

I would take that advanced lithium bat out and trash it ..
Not sure if its what caused it, but within a week or 2 days of play that battery trashed my tadao board in my ego8, everything worked perfect before that battery ... might not have anything to do with it ... but if it does ... that's an expensive road to go down

Is there another battery you would recommend?

I had a brand new 4 pack of energizers 1 week out of the store, went to replace my etha batteries and 2 where already dead, or you can use that one paintball battery n brand. . Think it's energize paintball or something like that
