As a "mom", I would not consider a facility who uses sophomoric sexual humor in their marketing campaign. Obviously such facility would not offer an atmosphere that I would be comfortable bringing my kid and their friends to. Would such a facility allow other patrons to use offensive language and tell sexual jokes while staged next to my table of 11 year olds? Would they enforce safety rules or just let everyone run amok? And so on...

As a field owner, I would rather my company be held in high regard by birthday moms, youth leaders, JROTC officers, school administrators/coaches, etc., than get a cheap laugh from 15-24 year olds who do not keep my doors open.

In my opinion, you went to far.

(On a side note - best of luck with your new venture. Your fields are amazing.)

Thank you all for your input, I really appreciate it. Tomorrow I will be posting more about our opening day and it will not have the same shock value. I really appreciate TwistedPBMom's feedback as I feel it was spot on, for those who compare it to people having sex with animals and/or a "brutal act," you should get psychological help... Seriously... they are consensual crayons... Crayons.. The positive response from females continue to grow, moms included, as they view it as what it is, an engaging ad that using the very difficult "shock value" while minimizing exploitation and violence. They are Crayons I tell you, CRAYONS. Mean while I see half naked women pose with everything from cars to markers and no one bats an eye, you are all so used to it you don't even care. This is mild by comparison to what is normally socially acceptable, yet still slaps you in the face, thats the genius. Its an ink blot, add what you will to it but at the end of the day its two sweet loving crayons, married crayons, trying to make a crayon baby... If I rally wanted to cause an issue I should tell you they are of the same sex.

Ok... Now I'm even more confused... You come here to the field owners area to ask an opinion if it was bad marketing, multiple field owners tell you it's bad... you shoot back with we need to get psychological help.

Then TwistedPBMom says

and you say she is spot on, but still leave it on your facebook page...

Wow.. I'm out.

Sophomoric: Pretentious or juvenile. (I agree)

Beastiality or Brutal (I disagree)

They are crayons having sex, very immature but thats about it. I value the rest of your statement about moms (who pay for their kids birthday party) and them being potentially offended. I feel TwistedPbMom backs that statement up very well. It just reminds me of a joke my dad likes to tell:

A psychiatrist is showing ink blots to a guy and the guy responds to what he sees:

Doctor: what do you see?
Patient: Boobs!
Doctor: and this?
Patient: naked woman!
Doctor: and this?
Patient: Sex!
Doctor: Well that settles it, you obviously are a perverse individual.
Patient: What do you mean? YOUR THE ONE WITH THE DIRTY PICTURES!

Not sure that marketing would make them feel comfortable with your facility.
Clearly you have an issue with your customers skewing too much towards women. Advertising like this will help solve that problem.
