'Cocker Body feedneck

Hey guys. I recently picked up a sportshot, and while my primo fit just fine in my Nightkast Pump's feedneck, I can easily shake the sportshot out. I'm looking into nabbing a clamping feedneck, and I'm just curious if the current one comes off? Just looking at it, it looks like it could be a part of the body, but I'm not sure. Could anyone help me out here? Thanks, and pics can be provided if needed
EDIT: I tried to electric tape the hopper, but it made it too thick. If theres any cheap mods I can do then that would probably be best!

Most "Nightkast" bodies will have a removable feedneck, but I've also seen some with a pressed fitted feedneck meaning you can't change it unless you press fit a new threaded neck onto the body.

Usually you can see a separation on the feedneck to see if it's removable or not, like this:

This one is easy to see since the body and the feedneck are different colors. Again if you don't have a removable feedneck then you can look into adding one yourself which can be a little bit of work: http://paintballgateway.com/wgpauthvefep.html

Okay I'm pretty sure I have that separation line, although it's hard to tell. Would you happen to know how to remove the feedneck?

If you can physically see the separation on your feedneck then you can simply untwist your feedneck right off. Please note that there's a large 116-70 o-ring that helps prevent the feedneck from rotating off during play which can make it a pain in the *** to take off.

Of course, a little bit of tape on the hopper neck could fix you right up.

ahah yeah before I posted this I was trying to put a whole strip of electrical tape around it, but it didn't fit so I came here. Then I went And cut some little slits and placed those on there, and now it fits like a glove

Glad you got it, pics always help when asking for help, if you ever feel the need and your body is a pressfit feedneck then you can always have the ego feedneck mod done to it.
